Dadong District is one of the central districts of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China, located in the eastern part of Shenyang City, which is an important industrial base and transportation hub in the northeast region. It covers an area of 51.3 square kilometers, with a resident population of about 700,000 and 14 streets under its jurisdiction.
Dandong District has a long history and is the birthplace of Shenyang national industry. It is the birthplace of Shenyang's national industry. The district is home to large state-owned enterprises such as Shenyang Mint and Liming Aero Engine Group, and was the birthplace of China's first domestic automobile "Minsheng".
