Located in the northeastern part of Guangdong Province, China, Tai Po County is a part of Meizhou City and is situated at the junction of Fujian and Guangdong Provinces, and is famous as the "Hometown of Overseas Chinese", "Hometown of Culture" and "Hometown of Ceramics". The county has a total area of about 2,467 square kilometers, mainly mountainous and hilly, with the Han River running through the whole territory, rich in natural resources and excellent ecological environment.
Tai Po has a long history and deep cultural heritage, with national cultural relics protection units such as Tai'an Building and Calyx Building, and the unique characteristics of the Hakka dragon house architecture. Hakka culture is the core of the area, and traditional folklore such as Guangdong Han music and Puzai fire dragons have been preserved.
