Dédougou is the capital of the region of Boucle du Mouhoun in western Burkina Faso, about 245 kilometers west of the capital, Ouagadougou, and is the regional economic and transportation hub of the country. The city is situated in a savannah climate zone with distinct wet and dry seasons. Agriculture is the mainstay of the local industry, with cotton, peanuts, millet and maize being the main crops grown, and animal husbandry also plays an important role. As the administrative center of the region of Boucle du Mouhoun, Dadra has excellent infrastructure and public services, including hospitals, markets and schools, and is surrounded by the famous Arly National Park, which attracts eco-tourism enthusiasts. With a predominantly Gurma and Bobo population and a rich culture of traditional crafts and folklore, it is one of the windows to experience western Burkina Faso.
Aleppo, a historic city in northern Syria, is located in Aleppo province near the Turkish border and was once an important trading hub on the ancient Silk Road. As one of the largest cities in Syria, Erek has long been a regional economic and cultural center throughout its history, and despite the damage caused by the conflict in recent years, its unique architectural and human heritage continues to attract the world's attention, and it is now gradually moving towards recovery and reconstruction.
