Located in the northwestern part of the island of Antigua in Antigua and Barbuda, Codrington is an important historical town and cultural landmark in the country. Named after Christopher Codrington, a 17th-century English plantation owner, the town was once one of the centers of the Caribbean sugar trade, and still retains colonial stone buildings, windmill ruins, and the remains of the old wharf, which bear witness to the changing history of the Caribbean Sea. Dingxiang County is located in the north-central part of Shanxi Province, Xinzhou City, located in the middle reaches of the Hutuo River in the Xin Ding Basin, relying on the Taihang Mountains in the east and the Yunzhong Mountains in the west, and has been a transportation hub and a major town of commerce in northern Jin since ancient times.
