About Kokopich, Gabon

Located in the east of Gabon, in the Ogooué-Ivindo province on the border with the Republic of Congo, Kokobici (Koumbi Saleh) is one of Gabon's important inland towns. Famous for its pristine rainforest landscape, the area is surrounded by rich biodiversity and is close to the Lopé National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that preserves rare flora and fauna as well as the remains of prehistoric rock paintings. The local economy is based on traditional agriculture (cassava, palm oil) and forestry, and the inhabitants, mostly of Bantu ethnicity, retain unique tribal cultural practices. With high temperatures and rainfall throughout the year and an average temperature of around 25°C, Kokopich is one of the gateways to exploring Gabon's natural and human secrets.

Overview of Sao Tome and Principe (note on "Java")

São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
