Located in the Muskoka region of central Ontario, Canada, Clayhurst is situated on a peninsula between Kasher Lake and Vernon Lake, and is part of the prestigious municipality of Muskoka Lakes. This small settlement is known for its dense forests, clear lakes and granite landscapes that are representative of the typical Canadian Shield.
As part of the Muskoka Lakes Resort Belt, Clayhurst is surrounded by a number of provincial parks and waterways that offer boating, fishing and hiking in the summer and snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter. With mostly seasonal homes and vacation homes, the community retains a strong natural wilderness atmosphere.
Clayhurst is connected to the outside world via Highway 11 and is about 15 minutes from the town of Gravenhurst. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
