Cixi is located in the eastern part of Zhejiang Province, on the south coast of Hangzhou Bay, as a county-level city in Ningbo, neighboring Ningbo in the east, Shaoxing in the west, and crossing Hangzhou Bay and Shanghai in the north, with significant location advantages. As the "Home Appliances Capital", Cixi has an active private economy with famous brands such as Foton, Bull, etc. It has a strong manufacturing base and is an important advanced manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta region. Cixi has a rich cultural heritage, with the Shanglin Lake Yue Kiln Site, known as the "Source of Celadon", on the World Cultural Heritage reserve list, and the humanities and natural landscape of Dapeng Mountain and Minghe Ancient Town. The city is also famous for its specialties such as prunes and rice cakes, making it a modern city with both economic vitality and humanistic charm.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
