Cilaos, a mountain town on the central plateau of the French overseas department of Reunion Island, located in the southwestern part of the Indian Ocean, is known for its magnificent natural beauty and unique cultural charms. Surrounded by the Mafat Gorge, the Brimbas Waterfalls and the Black River Gorge, the town boasts stunning hiking trails and is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.
