The area is known for its rich ethnic culture, traditional ceremonies and natural ecological landscapes, and its territory contains geological wonders such as the Toowen Creek Canyon. Chunri Township is between 200-1600 meters above sea level and has waterfalls, canyons and pristine woodlands, making it suitable for eco-tourism and cultural heritage experiences.
Chunri has preserved a large number of Paiwan stone houses, totem carvings and annual rituals, such as the Five-Year Festival.
