Funaying District is a municipal district of Jilin City, Jilin Province, China, located in the east-central part of Jilin Province, northwest of Jilin City, is one of the central urban areas of Jilin City, and is named after the Jilin Funaying garrison during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Located in the middle reaches of the Songhua River along the coast, is a temperate monsoon climate, the four seasons. The district is rich in history and culture, with the Jilin Temple of Literature (the largest Confucius Temple in Northeast China during the Qing Dynasty), the Beishan Ancient Temple Group and other national cultural heritage units, as well as the "Jilin Meteorite Rain" exhibition hall and other science and technology resources. Atar is an important city in northwestern Mauritania and the capital of the province of Adrar, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert about 440 kilometers from the capital, Nouakchott.
