Chongyi County is located in the southwestern part of Jiangxi Province in China, belonging to the city of Ganzhou, and is situated at the junction of Gan, Guangdong and Hunan provinces, with a total area of 2,206 square kilometers. With a predominantly subtropical monsoon climate and 88.3% forest coverage, Chongyi is a famous "green ecological county" in China, with natural landscapes such as the Yangmingshan National Forest Park and Qiyunshan National Nature Reserve.
Chongyi was established in 1517 at the request of the Ming Dynasty philosopher Wang Yangming, and the name of the county means "honoring propriety and righteousness". Hakka culture is the mainstay of the area, preserving unique dialects, food and folk traditions such as Hakka songs and festivals.
The economy is based on forestry, agriculture and tourism, and is rich in bamboo, tea and honey. It is rich in mineral resources, with tungsten ore reserves among the highest in the country. Eco-tourism has developed rapidly in recent years, attracting tourists to explore natural attractions and experience rural culture.
The county is easily accessible via Ganzhou Golden Airport and highways. Chongyi is characterized by "Yangming culture" and ecological recreation, and is an important ecological barrier and tourist destination in Gannan.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
