Chongyang County is located in the southeastern part of Hubei Province, belonging to Xianning City, located at the junction of Hunan, Hubei, Hubei and Jiangxi Provinces, at the northern foot of the Mufu Mountain Range, with the Junshui River crossing the border, known as the "Gateway to E'nan".
