Located in the southeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, Chifeng is a regional center city at the junction of Mongolia, Hebei and Liaoning provinces. As the birthplace of the Hongshan culture, it has a history of 8,000 years of human civilization, and the C-shaped jade dragon, known as the "First Dragon of China", was unearthed here.
Chifeng is located in the transition zone between the southern part of Daxinganling and the northern foot of Yanshan Mountain, with mountainous and hilly landscapes and the Keshiketeng World Geopark. The ecological landscapes such as Ulaanbaotun Grassland and Dalinuoer Lake are distributed in the territory, which is an important ecological barrier for the capital city of Beijing.
There are three major cultural systems, namely the Red Mountain Culture, the Khitan Liao Culture and the Mongolian Culture, and there are historical relics such as the Liao Shangjing Ruins and the Prince's Mansion of Karakin. Unique geological landscapes such as Keshiketeng Stonehenge and Yulong Sand Lake attract a large number of tourists every year.
Chifeng is an important agricultural and animal husbandry production base and energy base in Inner Mongolia, and is rich in agricultural and livestock products such as grains and beans, beef and mutton. In recent years, it has focused on the development of cultural tourism, modern logistics and other industries, and is an important transportation hub connecting Northeast and North China.
Mapou is an important town in the northern region of Mauritius, located about 20 kilometers north of the capital, Port Louis. It is part of the Rampart River district and is adjacent to the upmarket residential area of Monschouassi, which is known for its peaceful living environment and amenities.
Mapou is situated in the transition zone between the northern coast and the mountainous central part of the island of Mauritius, and is surrounded by the A4 highway connecting Port Louis to the northern tourist areas. The Sir Sivasagur Ramgoolam International Airport is about 50 kilometers away, about 1 hour by car, and all major areas of the island are easily accessible via the main highway.
Mapou is surrounded by Mapou Business Park, a large shopping center containing supermarkets, restaurants and banking services, and is the central business district for residents in the north. The area is predominantly low-density residential, with a large expatriate community, international schools and excellent medical facilities.
The area retains a partially landscaped sugar cane fields and is close to natural attractions such as the Labdone Bird Park. Residents have easy access to the beaches of Monschouassi and Pérébéré in the north, where they can experience Mauritius' distinctive blend of Creole culture and French colonial architecture.
