Changuinola, the capital of Panama's Chiriquí Province, is located in the western part of the country on the border between the Azulo Mountains and the Pacific Coastal Plain, and is an important economic and cultural center in south-central Panama. As a densely populated regional city, Changuinola is known for its vibrant business climate and diversified agricultural economy, surrounded by agricultural products such as coffee, sugarcane, and tropical fruits, which are radiated to the surrounding areas through a well-developed trade network. The city retains its traditional Panamanian flavor, blending Spanish colonial architecture with modern urbanism, and the annual Changuinola Carnival is one of the most culturally significant events in the region, attracting many tourists. As a transportation hub between Panama City and the western provinces, Changuinola is an ideal gateway for exploring the central region of Panama, with its natural and cultural attractions.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
