Changshou District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Municipality in China, located in the northeast of the main city of Chongqing, with the Yangtze River running through the district. As an important part of the Chongqing metropolitan area, it is the only administrative district in China to be named after "Longevity", which is a symbol of good fortune.
Located in the heart of Chongqing, 50 kilometers away from the main city, Changshou District is surrounded by the golden waterway of the Yangtze River and a number of high-speed railroad lines. It is the seat of the state-level Chongqing Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone, and is an important industrial base in Southwest China with chemical, steel and new materials as its leading industries. 2022 GDP will exceed 90 billion yuan.
Longevity is named after "many long-lived people", and there are inscriptions of long-lived old people in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There is Longevity Lake, a national 4A-level tourist attraction with an area of 65.5 square kilometers, which is the largest artificial lake in Southwest China. There are also historical and cultural landscapes in the area such as Bodhi Ancient Town and Sandaoquan Ancient Street, which receive more than ten million tourists annually.
It now has 7 streets and 12 towns under its jurisdiction, with a resident population of about 690,000 people. As an important node city of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing area, Changshou is accelerating the construction of the pioneer area of co-location development in the central city of Chongqing, and creating a modern city that is pleasant to live, work and visit.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
