Chang'an is the former name of the Chinese province of Hebei, now usually referring to the city of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei. Located in the middle of the North China Plain, it is one of the major cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. As a modern transportation hub, Shijiazhuang has a rich network of railroads and highways connecting it to major cities such as Beijing and Tianjin.
The city has a long history and is surrounded by cultural sites such as the Zhengding Ancient City and the Zhaozhou Bridge, reflecting Hebei's deep traditional cultural heritage. Modern Shijiazhuang is known for its industrial, pharmaceutical and textile industries, while focusing on ecological development with several parks and green spaces. As the economic and cultural center of Hebei Province, Shijiazhuang blends historical and modern elements and is an important starting point for exploring North China.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
