Cayenne, the capital of the French Overseas Region and Department of French Guiana, is located in northeastern South America, on the shores of the Gulf of Cayenne in the Atlantic Ocean, near Brazil and Suriname. As part of the French territory, Cayenne is a unique Creole blend of European culture, African heritage and indigenous traditions. The city has a tropical rainforest climate, with high temperatures and rainfall throughout the year, and is surrounded by vast rainforests rich in biodiversity. Cayenne is the political, economic and cultural center of French Guiana, with the Kourou Space Center, an important launch site for the European Space Agency, located in its vicinity, which has led to the development of science and technology and tourism. The city's colonial architecture, such as the Cathedral of Cayenne and the Salle Market, is set against a tropical landscape that attracts travelers exploring the French side of South America.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy.
