Cao County is located in the southwestern part of Shandong Province, China, under Heze City, at the junction of Lu and Henan provinces, and is an important historical and cultural city as well as a modern agricultural base in Shandong Province. It has a total area of 1,969 square kilometers and a population of about 1.4 million.
Cao County has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of Shang Tang culture, boasting monuments such as the Shrine of Yi Yin and the Mausoleum of King Tang.
