Cao County is located in the southwestern part of Shandong Province, China, under Heze City, at the junction of Lu and Henan provinces, and is an important historical and cultural city as well as a modern agricultural base in Shandong Province. It has a total area of 1,969 square kilometers and a population of about 1.4 million.
Cao County has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of Shang Tang culture, boasting monuments such as the Shrine of Yi Yin and the Mausoleum of King Tang. It is also an important cluster for the Hanbok industry, and is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Hanbok", with its Hanbok production accounting for about one-third of the national market share.
Cao County's economy is based on agriculture, producing wheat, corn and other crops, as well as developing specialty industries such as wood processing and performance costumes. In recent years, relying on the e-commerce platform, it has become a nationally recognized rural e-commerce demonstration county.
Cao County is located in the alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with a temperate monsoon climate. The transportation is convenient, with Rilan Expressway and Beijing-Kowloon Railway passing through the county, and about 50 kilometers away from Heze Mudan Airport, forming a perfect land and air transportation network.
