Cangnan County is located in the southernmost part of Zhejiang Province, China, under Wenzhou City, and is an important gateway to the southern gate of Zhejiang. It is bordered by the East China Sea to the east and Fujian Province to the southwest, with a land area of about 1,261 square kilometers and a sea area of about 3,780 square kilometers. It was founded in 1981 and was named after its location in the south of Yucang Mountain.
Cangnan is known as "China Printing City", with printing, packaging and plastic products as its leading industries. Cangnan is also rich in marine and tourism resources, including the golden beach of Yuliao and the Yucangshan National Forest Park. The local specialties include Cangnan fish cake and Alunshan meat bird, etc. The culture of Southern Fujian and Ouyue culture are blended here to form unique regional characteristics.
The resident population of the county is about 850,000, and the dialects are dominated by Minnan language (Zhennan Min language) and Ou language. The transportation network is well-developed, with Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway and Wenfu Railway running through the whole territory, and about 60 kilometers away from Wenzhou Longwan International Airport. Cangnan Station is the first county-level station in Zhejiang Province to open a train station, and the Cangtai Expressway, which will be opened to traffic in 2023, further strengthens its position as a transportation hub in Zhejiang and Fujian.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
