Bukovec is a small town in Slovakia's Trenčín region, located in the northwestern part of the country near the Czech border, in the foothills of the beautiful White Carpathian Mountains (Bílé Karpaty). It is known for its well-preserved nature and traditional countryside, and the surrounding area is covered with dense forests and vast fields, making it an ideal destination for hiking, biking and eco-tourism. The town has a population of about a thousand people and a slow pace of life. Most of the inhabitants are ethnic Slovaks who have preserved a strong folk culture, with local traditional wooden house architecture and festivals being quite distinctive. The economy is based on agriculture and small handicrafts, but in recent years it has attracted a small number of tourists who come to experience rural life away from the hustle and bustle due to its unique natural beauty. As a border town between Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Bukovce is a small town, but it shows the charm of a simple and quiet border town in Central Europe.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
