Bukit Panjang is a well-established residential area in the northwestern part of Singapore, located in the Bukit Timah planning area, about 12 kilometers from the city center. The area is dominated by HDB flats with a blend of natural parks and amenities in a serene and family-friendly environment.
Bukit Panjang is close to Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok and is well connected to the island via the Bukit Panjang LRT, buses and major roads such as Bukit Timah Road. Accessibility will be further enhanced by the future Tonson-East Coast MRT line.
Within the area, there are Bukit Panjang town center, shopping malls such as Junction 10, and green spaces such as Siu Kwai Lam and Jung Wah Park which provide space for recreation. Educational institutions include public schools such as Pui Kwan School, while healthcare is available at Bukit Panjang Community Hospital.
Bukit Panjang is known as a multicultural community that retains some of its rural character while continuously upgrading its facilities through the government's renovation program, balancing urbanization with nature and ecology, making it a typical example of a livable township in Singapore.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
