Bugol is the core region of Pohnpei State in the Federated States of Micronesia, located in the eastern part of the Caroline Islands in the west-central Pacific Ocean in a tropical oceanic climate zone, with an average year-round temperature of about 27°C and abundant precipitation. As an important part of Pohnpei, it is known for its pristine natural landscapes and unique cultures, with world-class geological wonders such as Lake Namitemito (Blue Hole) and the well-preserved ruins of an ancient stone city (Nadispe), which is a crossroads of Micronesian history and eco-tourism. Danfeng County is located in the southeastern part of Shaanxi Province in China, belonging to Shangluo City, and is situated at the southern foot of the eastern part of the Qinling Mountains, which is a predominantly mountainous county-level administrative region. Danfeng, named after the "Dan River" and "Fengguan Mountain", has a long history and was a major transportation route between Qin and Chu in ancient times and a fiefdom of Shang Yang. It has a warm-temperate climate with four distinct seasons and rich natural resources, producing walnuts, tea and Chinese herbs.
Danfeng has a rich cultural heritage, such as the Boat Guild Hall, Danjiang River Rafting and Wuguan Ruins, and is an important node for tourism in southern Shaanxi. The hometown of famous writer Jia Pingwa is also located here, adding to the cultural heritage.
