Broken Bow Lake is located in north-central Oklahoma, USA and is one of the most popular recreational lakes in the state. Formed by the interception of a tributary of the Arkansas River by the Broken Bow Dam, the lake covers an area of approximately 1,900 hectares and has a shoreline that extends for more than 60 kilometers.
The area around the lake is predominantly hilly and wooded, inhabited by animals such as white-tailed deer and wild turkey, and is a popular location for bird watching and nature photography. The lake is rich in freshwater fish species such as bass and catfish, and is open to fishing activities throughout the year.
Broken Bow Lake State Park offers a variety of outdoor programs such as camping, hiking, and jet skiing, attracting a large number of visitors each year. Parts of the lake are open for ice fishing in the winter and become a swimming and boating destination in the summer.
The lake is approximately 1.5 hours from Oklahoma City and is accessible via I-35 and state roads. There are several boat launches, picnic areas and vacation cabins in the surrounding area for family weekend getaways or short vacations.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
