Brievengat is a town located in the northern part of the Caribbean island nation of Curaçao, in the Willemstad metropolitan area, the capital of Curaçao, about 10 kilometers from the capital city, and is one of Curaçao's important residential and business communities. The town is known for its peaceful and pleasant environment, surrounded by modern residential areas, shopping centers and local businesses, while retaining the colorful Dutch colonial architecture that is characteristic of Curaçao.
