Ru County is located in the eastern part of Nagchu City in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, between Tanggula Mountain and Nyingchi Tanggula Mountain, with an average elevation of 4,000 meters, which is a typical plateau mountainous terrain. The county is famous for its Nujiang River upstream canyon landscape and northern Tibetan grassland landscape, with unique natural scenery and rich Tibetan cultural heritage.
For example, the county is famous for its magnificent snow-capped mountains, grasslands and the Grand Canyon of the Nujiang River, and there are famous humanistic landscapes in the territory, such as the Sapu Divine Mountain and the Skeleton Wall.
