Binzhou is located in the north of Shandong Province, China, in the hinterland of the Yellow River Delta, and is an important constituent city of the Shandong Peninsula City Cluster. As the meeting place of the Yellow River culture and Qi culture, Binzhou has a long historical heritage, which has nurtured such historical celebrities as Sun Wu, the Soldier Sage, and Fan Zhongyan, the famous prime minister of the Song Dynasty.
Binzhou is China's important grain, cotton and oil production base and modern textile industry base, with Weiqiao Venture Group, Xiwang Group and other leading enterprises.
