Binhai County is located in the northeastern part of Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China, and is an important county-level administrative district in the north of Jiangsu Province. Bordering the Yellow Sea to the east, it has a coastline of about 44.5 kilometers and a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. The economy is based on agriculture, fishery and manufacturing, with the new energy industry developing rapidly in recent years.
