Bemba County is located in the eastern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, belonging to the city of Chamdo, with an average elevation of about 3,500 meters and a plateau temperate semi-humid climate. The county covers a total area of about 8,890 square kilometers, with a predominantly Tibetan population, and is an important place for the transmission of Tibetan culture. Bianba County is rich in natural resources, with high mountains, glaciers, forests and grassland landscapes.
