Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Zhiduo County is located in the south of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, located in the core area of the source of the Yangtze River, with an average altitude of more than 4,500 meters above sea level, which is an important part of the Sanjiangyuan National Park, known as the core hinterland of the "Chinese Water Tower". Here has the source of the Yangtze River source Tuotuo River, the southern source of the Dangqu and other sources of water systems, breeding a rich alpine wetland ecosystem, inhabited by snow leopard, Tibetan antelope, wild yak and other rare wildlife. Zhiduo County is dominated by Tibetans, preserving the primitive nomadic culture and the folklore of Kham, and the Gadu Jowo Shenshan within its territory is one of the four sacred mountains in the Tibetan area, attracting many pilgrims every year. As a place where ecological protection and humanistic inheritance meet, Zhiduo is both an important barrier guarding the ecological security of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and a unique window to experience the nomadic civilization of the plateau.
