Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Yuanbaoshan District is located in the southeastern part of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, at the northern foot of the Yanshan Mountain Range and on the banks of the Laoha River, and is named after the Yuanbaoshan Mountain in its territory. As the core industrial area of Chifeng City, it is an important energy base in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, with coal industry as the pillar and large-scale modernized coal mines and coal-power integration enterprises. The area has convenient transportation, with the Beijing-Shenyang High Speed Railway and Chifeng Airport within easy reach, connecting Northeast China with the North China Economic Circle. In addition to industry, Yuanbaoshan has both natural and humanistic charms: Yuanbaoshan National Forest Park has a forest coverage of over 60%, with blossoming flowers in the spring and colorful forests in the fall; there are also Khitan cultural heritage sites in the vicinity, which bear witness to the Liao Dynasty's historical heritage. In recent years, the local community has been promoting green transformation, developing clean energy and eco-tourism, and becoming a modern city with both industrial strength and ecological livability.
