Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Xichuan County belongs to Nanyang City, Henan Province, located in the junction of Henan, Hubei and Shaanxi provinces, is located in the hinterland of Danjiangkou reservoir area. As the core water source of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the location of the head of the canal, the county has a water area of 506 square kilometers, shouldering the important mission of "a reservoir of clear water to the north.
Xichuan is one of the birthplaces of the Chu culture, with the thousand-year-old temple Xiangyan Temple, Jingziguan Ancient Town and other historical sites. The Danjiangkou Reservoir, the largest artificial freshwater lake in Asia, forms an ecological pattern of "mountains, water, forests and cities", and produces special agricultural products such as Danjiang fish and oranges, and has been awarded the National Ecological Civilization Demonstration Area.
Relying on the protection of water sources to develop a green economy, forming three pillar industries: ecological agriculture, clean energy and cultural tourism. The Ningxi Railway and the Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway pass through the area, and it is about 1.5 hours' drive from Nanyang Jiangying Airport, which builds up a three-dimensional transportation system by water, land and air.
