Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Wenjiang District is located in the western part of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, and is an important part of the downtown area of Chengdu City. As one of the birthplaces of the ancient Shu civilization, Wenjiang has a history of nearly 1,500 years since its establishment in the Western Wei Dynasty, and is known as "Golden Wenjiang". It covers an area of 277 square kilometers, with 6 streets under its jurisdiction and a resident population of about 960,000 people.
Wenjiang is located in the hinterland of Chengdu Plain, belonging to the Dujiangyan essence of the irrigation area, the territory of the Jinma River, Jiang'an River and other rivers across the formation of "water rhyme Wenjiang" ecological pattern. It has become a national ecological civilization construction demonstration area and a national leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration area. The economy is dominated by the medical, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, with key industrial functional zones such as Chengdu Medical City.
The transportation network is well-developed, with subway lines 4 and 17 running through the whole area, and it takes 30 minutes to reach the Chengdu dual airports. There are 6 colleges and universities, including Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, with rich educational resources. Famous attractions include the National Color Paradise and the Happy Field, etc., and it has been awarded "China's Happiest City" continuously.
