Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.

Marines is a municipality in the autonomous community of Valencia, Spain, located in the interior of the province of Castellón in the same autonomous community. It is located in the hilly area of the eastern Iberian Peninsula, about 30 kilometers from the provincial capital, Castellón de la Plana. The region has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters.
