Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Mamini Gyi is a town in the West African country of Côte d'Ivoire, located in the east-central part of the country, within the territory of the Vallée du Bandama, situated in the transition zone between the tropical rainforest and the savannah, where agriculture is the mainstay of the local economy, with the cultivation of crops such as cacao, coffee, and cassava, and with the preservation of the traditional craft market in the neighboring villages. As a small regional trading center, it is connected to the distribution of agricultural products in the surrounding area, and has a population of about tens of thousands, with a predominance of Bakwé and other ethnic groups, and the language spoken is Diyura (Jula) and French. Although not a major tourist town, the unique culture of tribal festivals and traditional dances showcases Côte d'Ivoire's diverse ethnicity.
