It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.

Lundazi is a border town in the Southern Province of Zambia, located in the southern part of the country in the border area with Zimbabwe. An important transportation hub, the town is connected by road and rail to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, and Victoria Falls, a famous city in Zimbabwe.

Town facilities are relatively basic but vibrant, with the local market, elementary school and medical center forming the core of community life. The surrounding nature is pristine and attracts a small number of adventure travelers to experience the countryside.
