Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Longyao County is located in the south of Hebei Province and the central part of Xingtai City, situated in the plains of southern Hebei, with a warm-temperate continental monsoon climate, covering a total area of 749 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000 people. It is the ancestral home of Wei Zheng, the famous prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, and Li Bai, the poet. It is rich in history and culture, with monuments such as the ruins of the ancient city of the Cypress People (a national key cultural relics protection unit) and the Tang Ancestral Mausoleum, which have witnessed more than 2,000 years of historical changes. Agriculture is dominated by wheat and corn cultivation, with specialties such as Longyao Zebian Lotus Roots, chicken leg onions and other geographical indications products. Longyao Yangge Opera and Longyao Zhaizi Drum are listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list, and there is a strong atmosphere of folk art. In recent years, relying on the advantages of location, it has actively developed equipment manufacturing and food processing industries, and is an important county economy in the south of Hebei Province, with both historical heritage and modern development vitality.
