Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Located in the northern part of Liaoning Province, China, Kangping County is part of Shenyang City, situated in the Liaohe River Basin and adjacent to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, making it an important ecological barrier and agricultural base in Liaoning. It has a total area of about 2,175 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000 people. The county is dominated by plains, with a temperate continental climate and four distinct seasons, producing crops such as corn and rice, and a well-developed animal husbandry industry.
Kangping is rich in natural resources and history and culture. Wolong Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Liaoning Province, has been listed as a national wetland park and has great potential for ecotourism. The economy is dominated by agriculture and agricultural product processing, with new energy and light industry gradually developed in recent years. The transportation is convenient, only 100 kilometers away from Shenyang, G25 Changshen Expressway passes through the whole territory.
