Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Hukou County is located in the north of Jiangxi Province, southeast of Jiujiang City, at the intersection of the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the entrance of Poyang Lake into the river, which is known as "the lock and key of the Yangtze River and Lake, and the thoroughfare of the three provinces". It is named "Hukou" where Poyang Lake enters the Yangtze River and is the water gateway of Jiangxi Province. The golden waterway of the Yangtze River and the water system of Poyang Lake meet here, forming the magnificent scene of "the lake lapping at the shore and the waves surging in the sky".
Hukou has a rich cultural heritage, Su Shi, a writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, wrote the famous piece "The Record of Shizhong Mountain", which makes it "the first mountain of China's ancient strange sound"; the territory has the national cultural heritage unit of Shizhong Mountain Scenic Spot, the ruins of the Huaiwang Palace of the Ming Dynasty and other monuments, as well as Hukou Cao Long, Qingyang Cavity, and other national non-heritages, which have been inherited for thousands of years. As a strong industrial county in Jiangxi, Hukou relies on the Yangtze River shoreline resources, layout of new materials, new energy and other industries, is an important manufacturing base in northern Gan. Meanwhile, the Poyang Lake Wetland Migratory Bird Sanctuary attracts hundreds of thousands of cranes and other rare birds to overwinter here every year, which is called "Migratory Bird Paradise", where nature and humanities meet.
