Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Feidong County, part of Hefei City, Anhui Province, China, is located in the eastern part of Hefei, the provincial capital, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle, and is an important part of the Hefei Metropolitan Area. Local specialties include Shitang Donkey Bar and Gonghetang Lion Head, reflecting the traditional flavor of Anhui. In recent years, Feidong has actively developed eco-tourism and rural revitalization projects, making it a popular short-haul travel destination around Hefei.
As an important industrial carrying area in Hefei, Feidong focuses on high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials and electronic information industries, and has a provincial-level economic development zone. In terms of agriculture, it focuses on rice, rapeseed and specialty aquaculture, and is a key county for grain production in Anhui Province. With the advancement of the construction of the new center in the east of Hefei, Feidong is accelerating its integration into the Yangtze River Delta integrated development with remarkable potential.
