Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Chishui, located in the northwest of Guizhou Province and belonging to Zunyi City, is an ecological pearl at the junction of Sichuan and Guizhou, famous for its spectacular Danxia landforms and rich history and culture. As the core component of "China Danxia" World Natural Heritage, Chishui Danxia is interspersed with natural landscapes such as Danxia waterfalls and Cyathea forests, especially Chishui Grand Waterfall (Shizhang Cave) is the most shocking one with a height of 76 meters and a width of 80 meters, which is regarded as "the first waterfall of the Yangtze River". It is known as "the first waterfall of the Yangtze River". It also preserves a complete subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem, and is one of the regions with the highest latitude and largest area of Danxia in the world. At the same time, Chishui is the place where the Red Army's Long March "Four Crossings of Chishui" took place, leaving behind a large number of revolutionary sites, where the red culture and green ecology mingle, attracting nature lovers and history seekers. Its unique Danxia landforms, primitive ecology and red memories make it a tourist attraction with both natural wonders and cultural heritage.
