Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Chenghai is located in the eastern part of China's Guangdong Province, a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Shantou City. It is situated at the southern end of the Han River Delta, bordering the South China Sea, and is famous for its overseas Chinese culture and toy manufacturing industry. The region has a total area of about 345 square kilometers and a population of over 700,000. The climate is subtropical and maritime, with mild and humid seasons.
Chenghai's economy is dominated by light industry, and it is one of the world's largest toy production and export bases, with the title of "China Toys and Gifts City". Culturally, Chenghai is an important birthplace of Chaoshan culture, preserving a large number of traditional customs and buildings, such as the former residence of Chen Cihong and the Laiwu Tourism Zone. Transportation is convenient, connecting domestic and overseas through Shanfen Expressway and Shantou Waisha Airport.
