Rehoboth, the capital of Namibia's Erongo Province, is one of the country's major inland cities, located on the country's central plateau about 90 kilometers south of Windhoek (Namibia's capital). With a population of about 60,000, the city is known for its unique culture of the Baster people, a mixture of South African Dutch and local Khoisan descendants, who have preserved their traditional language and customs, and who hold a great cultural festival every year. Located in a semi-arid climate zone, Belsheba is surrounded by a predominantly livestock industry, with cattle and sheep farming being the mainstay of the local economy. As a major transportation link between Windhoek and southern Namibia, the city has an excellent road network and is also one of the gateways to the Namib Desert and the Skeleton Coast. Despite its small size, Belsizeba, with its multiculturalism and strategic location, is an economic and cultural center in central Namibia that cannot be ignored.
Tonggu County is located in the northwestern part of Jiangxi Province, China, belonging to Yichun City, and is situated at the junction of Gan and Xiang provinces, which is a typical mountainous county. The county has a total area of 1,548 square kilometers and a population of about 140,000 people. Tonggu is named after the historical excavation of a copper drum from the Tang Dynasty, and is rich in red culture and ecological resources.
Tonggu County has a high forest coverage of 88%, ranking first in Jiangxi Province, and is known as a "natural oxygen bar". There are Tianzhu Peak National Forest Park, Tangli Hot Spring Resort and other natural attractions in the county, which are famous for Danxia landforms, waterfalls and primitive forests, making it an eco-tourism and summer vacation spot.
Tonggu is one of the origins of the Autumn Harvest Uprising, and has red sites such as the former site of the Xiang-E-Gan Soviet Government. Local industries are mainly bamboo and wood processing, green food (e.g. bamboo shoots, tea) and tourism. The Hakka culture is deeply inherited, preserving unique folklore and traditional handicrafts.
