Bernabé Rivera is a small inland town in the Uruguayan department of Soriano, about 150 kilometers northwest of the capital Montevideo. Named after the Uruguayan national hero, José Bernabé Rivera, the town is surrounded by a typical pampas landscape, where agriculture and animal husbandry are the main economic activities.
