Located in the south of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, Beihai City is an important port city and tourist destination along the Beibu Gulf Coast. As one of the starting ports of the ancient "Maritime Silk Road", Beihai has a long history and rich cultural heritage. Baode County is located in the northwestern part of China's Shanxi Province, under Xinzhou City, on the east bank of the middle reaches of the Yellow River, across the river from Fugu County in Shaanxi Province. The county has a long history and is an important cultural node in the Yellow River Basin. It is known for its rich coal resources and belongs to the core area of the Golden Triangle of Energy in Jin, Shaanxi and Mongolia. Baode has a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons, and agriculture is dominated by miscellaneous grain cultivation, while industry is anchored by energy and mineral development.
