Bazhou City is located in the central part of Hebei Province, China, under Langfang City, in the core area of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan area. It has a total area of about 784 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000 people. The city is known for its industrial and economic development zones, focusing on metal products, machinery manufacturing and modern services, making it an important manufacturing base in North China.
Bazhou is conveniently located close to Beijing and Tianjin, with a number of major transportation routes including the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Jinbao High Speed Railway. Historically and culturally, Bazhou is home to monuments from the Song and Liao Dynasties and traditional folk arts, such as the Shengfang Ancient Town and concerts.
