Batroun is a historic city on the northern coast of Lebanon, situated on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, about 70 kilometers from the capital Beirut. With over 3,000 years of history and its iconic Greco-Roman walls, some of which date back to Phoenician times, still intact, this ancient Phoenician city is one of the oldest urban monuments in Lebanon. Beit Lumin is known for its stunning Mediterranean scenery, with a blue and white old town, tranquil White Beach and crystal clear waters that attract many visitors. In addition, the region has a long history in the wine industry, and the surrounding vineyards are renowned in the Middle East for their wines. This small town, which combines history and natural beauty, is an excellent destination for exploring Lebanon's culture and coastline.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
