Barbuda is part of the country of Antigua and Barbuda and is located in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea, across the channel from Antigua. The 161-square-kilometer island is known for its pristine natural beauty, its small population (about 1,600) and its isolation from the hustle and bustle of the Caribbean.
