Baoshan, located in the western part of China's Yunnan Province, is an important city in the western Yunnan region, neighboring Myanmar and situated in the southern section of the Hengduan Mountains, known for its unique geographical location and multiculturalism. With a mild climate and an average annual temperature of about 16°C, Baoshan is known as the "Spring City" and is suitable for year-round tourism.
Baoshan is rich in history and natural resources, and is an important node on the Southern Silk Road, with attractions including the Gaoligong Mountain Biosphere Reserve, the Tengchong Volcanic Hot Sea, and the Heshun Ancient Town.
