Navala is a traditional village in the mountainous interior of the island of Viti Levu, Fiji, located in the upper valley of the Ba River. As the only settlement in Fiji that has retained its traditional thatched cottage complexes intact, Navala is renowned for its cultural uniqueness and has been described as "Fiji's last thatched cottage village".
